Overview of the 12 verb tenses in English:
We don’t need all of them.
Most important to know:
-Simple present- habit, usual activity, state
I go to school everyday.
I eat dinner at 3.
She drinks tea.
He is very tall.

-Simple past- one event in the past, finished
I walked my dog last night.
I ate dinner last night.
I went to night school yesterday.
I went to work yesterday afternoon.
-Simple future- one event to come in the future ‘will’ ‘am

‘ing’- happening right now
