naive (adjective)
kind feelings (adjective and a noun)
they forgot their equipment (independent clause)

The styles of the three points are all different.
same style - parallel

they were naive, kind, and unprepared. parallel
adj, adj, and adj.

they had naive hearts, kind feelings, and empty hands. interesting

they were naive, they had kind feelings, and they forgot their equipment. parallel, overwritten, too much writing for such simple ideas
