EF 2/3 Paragraph format

Paragraph Format
When you write a paragraph, you must follow certain rules about format.  Format means how the paragraph looks on a page.  Here are some key points about format to remember when writing a paragraph:
1.    Double-space.  Most schools expects pass-in writing to be double-spaced.  This allows the teacher to make comments about your writing and offer corrections.  It also make your writing easier to read.
2.    Write in pen, no pencil.  Black or blue ink is best.  Leave the green, pink and silver pens at home.
3.    Indent.  Start your first sentence of each paragraph about two cm in from the margin.  If you are using computer, use the TAB key.
4.    Respect the margins.  Keep your writing between the margins.
5.    Don’t start each new sentence on a new line.
6.    Don’t use numbering or bullet points.
7.    Make sure each sentence is a real sentence.
