Three kinds of sentences that we will learn.

-SIMPLE SENTENCES

SIMPLE SENTENCE- most basic

subject and verb  S+V

subject – person, place, thing, idea - noun or pronoun

 

verb- action word, to be, to have

Examples:

She has an old car.

Jun wants to buy some milk.

He is strong.

Mei needs some advice.

advice- uncountable , no ‘s’

Mei needs some advices. XXX

Mei needs some pieces of advice.

I need two cups / spoonfuls / pounds / plates / grains of rice.

 

REMEMBER – Begin with a capital letter and a period.
