EF23 Class 18

 

Next week or the week after, we will be doing one-on-one meetings. We will discuss which course you should take in November.

TWO WAYS TO MAKE SIMPLE FUTURE VERB TENSE

-         “will” –easiest way

-         “be going to”

e.g.

Alex will go to the doctor.

Alex is going to go to the doctor.

We  are going to go to the doctor.

contractions – a little bit casual, for school writing, avoid contractions, great for talking

6.    I’m not going to study for the test. I won’t study for the test.

7.    She’ll practice guitar on Saturday morning. She is going to practice guitar on Saturday morning.

8.    She’ll water the flowers. She is going to water the flowers.

9.    You won’t call me back. You aren’t going to call me back.

10.                       They’ll work on their presentation after school. They’re going to work on their presentation after school.
