Phrasal Verbs Exercise 1

IDIOM dot the is and cross the ts- make sure a document is written well

Complex sentences- adverb clauses

 

The three golden words for adverb clauses:

‘because’                                  ‘if’                                    ‘when’

 

These three words are the most commonly used for adverb clauses.

You can say a lot using ‘because’, ‘if’, and ‘when’.

e.g

Martia came to Canada as a refugee because there is a war in her country.

Because there is a war in her Martia’s country, Martias she came to Canada as a refugee.

 

Martia came to Canada as a refugee. There is a war in her country. 2 SIMPLE SENTENCES
