Simple Sentences

 

Notice that there are some important requirements for a simple sentence:

1.  Has at least one subject (or implied subject) and one verb.

2. Expresses a complete thought.

3.  Has only one clause.

4.  Begins with a capital letter and ends with a period.*

* For all sentences.

 

Simple sentences come in many forms:
