Run-on sentences- common error
Marking note: Divide. Divide into sentences. RO
Put one or two ideas into a sentence. Avoid putting three or four or five ideas into a sentence.
e.g. I took my son to school I went to Superstore then I picked up my son go home. RO RW
I took my son to school I went to Superstore then I picked up my son go home.
Rewrite these ideas into good sentences: simple, compound, complex.
I took my son to school. I went to Superstore. Then I picked up my son and went home.
I took my son to school, and I went to Superstore. Then I picked up my son and went home.
Dividing our ideas into sentences. One or two ideas per sentence. If you have three or four ideas, then you will need more sentences.

If you know how to write simple, compound, and complex sentences, then learning how to write for different purposes (i.e. school, business, fiction) will be straightforward.
