We want a good variety of sentences.
Use different styles and different types.
Mix it up.

Staple - main food you eat usually
A staple for Asian people is white rice.
A staple for American is potatoes and bread.
A staple for Irish people is potatoes.

We need variety in our writing.
SIMPLE, COMPOUND, COMPLEX

Make sure each sentence you write is one of those styles.

Because it is cold, you are wearing a hat. COMPLEX
You are wearing a hat because it is cold. NO COMMA - That is how I teach it.

You are wearing a hat, because it is cold. STYLE
