EF 2/3 Compound sentences

7. Look on top of the refrigerator for the key, or look on the countertop.

Command sentence- imperative sentence
When you tell somebody to do an action, you don't have to say 'you'.

e.g. Be careful. Take care. Open the window. Be quiet. Move aside. Turn off the lights.
Open the window, please.
Can you open the window, please?
Could you ....?

8. I am out of paper for the printer, so I will buy some next week.

9. Will you help me with the math homework, or will you go home early?
Will you help me with the math homework, or are you too busy?


10. The music is too loud for my ears, so turn it down, please.
The music is too loud for my ears, but I want to keep dancing.
