EF2/3 Sentence combining practice French Fries/ Coffee

FRENCH FRIES
1.     The white french fries are loaded into a wire basket.
2.     Then they are slowly lowered slowly into oil.
3.     Their bath crackles, foams and is hot.

4.     The thinly-sliced potatoes release a steam puff.

5.     They come out crispy brown and streaked with oil.

COFFEE
1.     He sips at his coffee cup which is chipped along the rim.
2.     The taste is bitter, acidic, and faintly soapy. PARALLEL
e.g. She likes dogs, cats, and rabbits.
3.        There is a brown film which is on the inside of the cup.
4.        He takes extra care so that he doesn’t spill any on his clothes.
He doesn’t want to spill any on his clothes, so he takes extra care.
He takes extra care not to spill any on his clothes.

6.     He is afraid that it might eat holes in the material.
