-I will not ask for a book deposit for the books.

-Please take care of your book. I use it term after term.

“The Kiwi”

-two meanings

green fruit

flightless bird from New Zealand

 

flightless birds: kiwi (New Zealand), chicken, ostrich, penguin (Antarctica, South Pole), turkey

 

animals that sleep in the day and come out at night- kiwis, cat, owl, coyote

 

endangered species- have to be protected, only a few animals left: kiwi, panda, tiger, elephant, lion, grizzly bear (Canada)

 

in danger of disappearing
