Tips for writing a good paragraph:

PREWRITE- planning (5m)

1. Read the question carefully. Read every word several times. Make sure you understand what the writing prompt is asking you to write about.

2. Brainstorm 3 points to support your topic sentence. 3 is a good number.

3. Put the three points in order – TIME, SPACE, IMPORTANCE

WRITE- (40m)

4. Topic sentence and supporting sentences and concluding sentence (150-200w) (30m)

5. Proofread and edit (10m) – punc vf vt agr

6. Email it in on time.

TIP: Make sure you are writing real sentences: simple, compound, 

complex
